The nerves don't disappear. Even guys who pull a lot still get them, they just stopped letting the feeling drive the bus.
Why you get nervous: You're treating each interaction like the outcome matters. It doesn't. There are 4 billion women. This one is one of them.
The drill that fixes it:
1. Talk to 3 women a day, every day, for 30 days. Not pickup. Coffee baristas, the woman at the grocery line, anyone. Comment on something specific in the environment. Make it short. The point isn't a number, it's volume.
2. Reframe the goal. The win is "I said the thing." Not "she liked me." You control the first, not the second. Score yourself on volume, not response.
3. Do the cold approach version once a week. Walk up to one woman in public, say "Hey, I saw you and thought you were cute, I wanted to come say hi." It will be terrifying. Then it won't be.
After ~60-100 reps, your nervous system stops treating it as a threat. You haven't "fixed your anxiety" - you've shown your brain that nothing actually bad happens.
The shortcut is reps. There is no other shortcut.
